 In March 2025, we hosted an R5 Jawnts journey, and it was a true success. Over four unforgettable days, our guests enjoyed exclusive behind-the-scenes access to some of Napa and Sonoma’s most remarkable wineries, with tastings led directly by the winemakers themselves. One of the most memorable moments came when Aaron Pott, world-renowned winemaker, welcomed us high above Napa County for a private look at his property and opportunity to taste his current wine release under Pott Wines.   This was a rare and unforgettable experience. 

Each day of our trip was elevated by excellent meals at Michelin-recognized and chef-driven restaurants, where the flavors of wine country came alive. More than just wine and food, this experience offered a deep dive into the culture, stories, and hidden gems of the region, allowing our group to experience Napa and Sonoma with authenticity and connection rarely available to visitors.

• Angèle - Kieran and Kristie favorite Napa restaurant featuring classic French cuisine in the historic Hatt Building overlooking the Napa River

• Mustards - opened in 1983 by Cindy Pawlcyn, a pioneer in wine country cuisine 
• The Girl and the Fig - Our absolute favorite restaurant on the Sonoma Plaza established by PA native Sondra Bernstein. French bistro with a Rhone obsession!

Visits to six (6) exclusive wineries with private tastings guided by the winemakers

• Jericho Canyon Vineyard - Kieran was the winemaker here working with Aaron Pott and Michel Rolland. An estate winery specializing in Bordeaux wines.
• Pott Wines - This is going to be a very special experience because you can’t just book a tasting with the famous winemaker Aaron Pott. Aaron has generously welcomed us to his home and vineyard atop Mt. Veeder in Napa Valley.
• Dane Cellars - Bart Hansen is welcoming us to his unique tank house tasting room!
• MacLaren Wines - A fellow Rhone Ranger, Steve Law makes exquisite wines from Sonoma Valley vineyards.
• R Five Wines - Join us for a tour of one of our vineyards followed by a barrel tasting and tour of our R5 wine production facility
• Winery Sixteen 600 - Channel your inner Dead Head for a vineyard tour and tasting with one of our favorite Sonoma tasting rooms.
